I loved this card {CraftersChoice ~ White Meadow} and thought I needed to make something out of it. So I landed on a simple folder.

I sewed the pockets in (yes card)

I wasn’t sure what to put in the folder, but I wanted something that complimented it. Then I came across my lace paper cut outs. Perfect.

Have a nice day!

Inspired by my new printables (now available on Etsy hee hee) I made these two cards out of the packaging some stickers came in 🤎 .

Here is the link to my Etsy Shop 😉

Below is a picture of the ‘original’ packaging …

So we now have the cutest grandson just living up the road ~ within walking distance. It’s so great. He is SO cute 🥰

I made him a little cushion…

(I also gave him a little book on birds which his dad, who is a super fisherman and loves nature and knows his birds, will love reading to him!)

It is a combination of free motion sewing and using my CRICUT to print and iron on the wording. I’m so pleased with the result.

I haven’t posted for ages. I’ve still been making things but you know what it’s like….time consuming! Ha!

Anyway, I made this the other day and sold it on Facebook Marketplace the day I finished making it for NZ$25. I was delighted that it went to a friend of my mum’s who was moving into a tiny house and thought it was just what she needed 💜

I’ve been doing a bit of junk journalling, and using paper and collage. So yesterday, when my husband bought me some low carb Gin and Tonic and the box was so pretty I decided to collage it up…

So, take one gin and tonic carry box…

Now I just have to think about what I can put in it. I might modpodge the outside to strengthen it first though.

Hope this inspires you! ~ Jo x

I’m getting quite addicted to making these collaged window envelopes and little folders with secret pockets and places to write or tuck memories, poems, or special thoughts.

Send to someone in the post to make someone happy!

Or give as a special gift ~ tuck some money or a gift voucher into the pockets along with a special meaningful note. It’s more than just a card!

Or give to a friend to tuck into their Junk Journal.

I haven’t posted for a while. I have been making things but also been so busy. However, lately I’ve been starting on a new hobby… making journal cards, or happy mail.

I haven’t got to the stage of making a journal, and don’t know if I will, but I love watching Roxy Creations making these things to put into junk journals, or to send as “Happy Mail” and so I’ve just started making my own now, and here is my second one…

Cover with strips of white cotton for the bow
On the back a verse from the Bible

Today is take down the Christmas tree day – nope it’s not – it’s wrap up the Christmas Tree in a white bag day!  The word for me this year is EASY and you know, this idea makes it easy today at the beginning of 2020 and it will be easy for me at the end of the year to just pull it out.  I whipped up a bag on my Overlocker using an old white sheet from a dry cleaners.  Love it!

Next Christmas is going to be so EASY putting up the tree!  I just loved my decorations this past Christmas so I will just be repeating it again 2020…

And I’m loving the cool tones of white and brown/black now…9763EB75-E121-4A58-BE81-5EC879DAF0377DCFC9F6-FE00-4E05-AFD4-E2CBEFED4B77

This is the Scripture reference in the Bible that inspires me regarding this year, 2020, being EASY!  It doesn’t mean I won’t be very busy and productive, quite the contrary.  But I believe this year God is going to give me great ideas to make things EASY and light! 777E96F9-BCAF-4989-8CD7-901E4D018BE3

Christmas is over and it is holiday time.  And so it’s time to get OFF Pinterest and actually make something.  So I chose these little Home Sachets.  I think they will make nice little gifts…

This is something a little different for me.  I’m working with pre-loved doilies.  I’ve made this little cushion and used a stencil in the middle for the words, with free-motion sewing.  It kind of looks like gothic meets grandma!! Ha!
