Archives for category: Journalling

I love creating ’fussy cutting’ and creating ephemera folders for junk journalling, etc. In fact I’ve said it before, but I think my real hobby is getting organised for my hobbies!

Below is my latest creation made from a small photograph album. I cut velum strips and glued them on with double-sided cellotape.

A strip of washi tape down the side helped create the inspiration for each page colour.

This is a take on free motion sewing but using embroidery stitching and beautiful lace and embroidered doilies bought at second hand shops.

One off unique design.
Ready for framing or make it to something of your choice like a cushion or journal cover.

My friend made a whole lot of origami dresses and put them on a notebook for the female attendees of a special retreat. She sent me a photograph of the little dresses which were so cute. So, I thought, as a thank you for all her beautiful work at the retreat, I would make her some Happy Mail as a thank you. So this is what I created…

Recently I created my first pretty printables for journalling and card making. So I thought I would try one and see what I was inspired to make…

This picture “Act 1. The Introduction” I cut out of a magazine a long time ago … just the perfect setting to use it!
