Beautiful Things
It’s a rainy day this King’s Birthday in New Zealand. Which means if I sew all day I don’t feel guilty about not being in the garden. Using a pre-loved place mat as a base I built this simple design using preloved dollies and lace found at options. I hope this is inspiring to you.…

Village Scene
You know how much I love free motion sewing, and coupled with my love for coastal living, this little scene was easy to create in my mind. The great thing about this kind of art is that you are transported to the coast as you sew. It couldn’t be nicer on this cold wet summer’s…

Beach Life 2
I’ve done a Beach Life fabric art before and totally enjoyed it and felt it was time to do another. A warm but wet day in Maketu, NZ, created the perfect mood …. Oh and a day off! The evolution… Highlights…

He Heals
I found a beautiful frame at a second hand shop on Saturday which inspired me to make this design. Made from up-cycled linen and embroidery pieced together. I felt the Scripture “He heals, the wounds of the broken-hearted” captured the mood of the colours … soothing, calming and gentle to the soul.
